Hi all,

I am concerned, in getting the t51b armour, the helmet was not with the suit. Is this normal?
Is the helmet located elsewhere or is this a glitch?
When first entering the room, all I seen was the armor in the status field, not the helmet.

I have completed anchorage quest.
I am on the quest for Crowly.
I have the three keys and haven't turned them into Crowly.
I chose not to elimate the wastelanders.
I have entered the area with Tara, went through the locked door, into the other room with the t51b armor and only received the armour and not helmet.
I attempted this numerous times with the same result, with only the lockers in the room change content in one of the lockers.

The helmet should be right above the armor, if you take the armor then the helmet should drop down.

So.... the helmet is with the armor. Then since there is no helmet with my game, then there is a glitch.
I will go back to a previous save and play for a game day and try again.
So far I have had the same results, body armor is there but the head gear is not.

Just to note, theres two things I can think of. Either A. the helmets physics caused it to go haywire and spin when you went to turn off the forcefield the helmet flew off somewhere. or B. the helmet, as it's likely to do sometimes, turned invisible, while still being pick up able.

Did floor sweep.
Did grid search.
No helmet.
From the first few tries, the suit did shoot out from the field, couldn't find the suit.
On all other attempts, I closed the door, sealing off the room. I opened the door and did a search outside the room with no better results.
I will try again after waiting a game day or more and then post my results.

I tried many more times with the same results.
I launched missles in hoping for a change, but this proved nothing.
I found on another site that there is a problem here.

So I guess there is a glitch or some other thing programed in that does this.
No T-51b helmet, just the body armor.
Can anyone suggest on what I can do to get the helmet?

Unless you're on the PC and can add it to your inventory using a console command there's not really anything that can be done. You could try loading a much earlier save if you have one, or if you have the Operation: Anchorage DLC you can always get the Winterized version of the armor (though with 5 less DR) after finishing that.

At the start of this post, I was past level 30 quite a bit.
I went back to level 28.5, gained the keys, acquired the armor, and the helmet was still missing.
I went back many hours to level 26.5, gained the keys, and the helmet is there now.
So there is possibly a quest that you do that makes this disappear.
Before the "Aid the Outcast" quest.
Before the "Nuka Cola Challenge" quest.
Before going to Tenpenny Tower.
Going to level 28 was before the Outcast quest, so I presume helping ghouls into Tenpenny tower is what did me in.
Anyway, I know that the glitch is in the gameplay and not in the game itself.
I will continue playing without the armor since my game is way past level 30 and that I have the winterized version of it.
