What was the most unexpected thing to happen to you in Fallo

For me, it was when I was near the junkyard and I got the random encounter with that girl (not Amata; the other one) from Vault 101 after Trouble on the Homefront.

You?

Punching Officer Mack in the face causing him to go 360 through the air and hit a wall, hanging from it for eternity.
And then dogmeat blowing up just as I found him, the car never stopped exploding.

Opening up the super mutant cage with the teddy bear near Evergreen Mills....only to turn around and have a Behemoth bearing down on me at full speed

Didn't see that one coming. :cold:

When I found the Firelance after about 1000+ hours of playing. I seriously thought it was a false rumor - a jest, created by cruel members on the forum to tease retardos like me...

The mad preacher in general freaked me out the first time. I was sneaking around at night past the super mutants and Talons mercs when I first heard him, freaked me out at first and then something triggered the mini nuke a couple of streets over, I wasn't close enough to take any damage or even know what was going on, but I was close enough for my screen to shake and see a nice little light show. I didn't have a clue what had happened until my second playthrough when I found him again, still one of my favorite Fallout experiences, albeit one of my weirdest.

guys i am not playing but i thought you couldn't make it past the fence near the Super Duper Mart, FO3 was the first open world game i have ever played.I was playing several FPS games at the time so i was used to going wherever the arrow told me and without exploration. FO3 was the best game i have ever had :fallout:

In the point lookout DLC when I was approaching desmond's mansion, and BOOM! The failsafe explosion sent me flying backwards and debris filled the sky. It was epic.

The cool Pennsylvania Ave. Explosives Note. Nice light show, and 150+ experience points all at once. :celebration:

Don't forget the car fort! Get a bunch of raiders in there and use a fat man and bam, the great war's nuke's all in one explosion.

The first time I saw the vertibird land at the
Spoiler
Jefferson Memorial when I was doing the MQ at the part where I was running errands for James and I was locked in the pipe outside
One of my fave moments ever in the game.
