Do I have to restart Daggerfall?

This post contains lots of Daggerfall main quest spoilers so I'm putting most of it in spolier tags:

Spoiler

I just got the Dust of Restful Death back from Medora Direnni at Direnni Tower and now I have to take it to Lysandus's Tomb and sprinkle it on his corpse. So after some time trying to figure out where Lysandus's Tomb is on my own, I give up and check the UESP. Much to my dismay, UESP says that to reveal the location of Lysandus's Tomb, I had to do the Stronghold of the Blades quest, which before that I had to do the Wayrest Painting quest, which I chose to skip because I didn't want to be an ally to Sentinel. Now the time frame to accept the Wayrest Painting quest from Queen Akorithi has long passed, and I have no save games I can load from before. I've traveled to Sentinel and have tried talking to the Queen but get no response.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I saw on UESP that Lysandus's Tomb is located in Menevia, so I clicked Menevia on my map and searched for Lysandus's Tomb but it didn't find it.

Does this mean I have to restart Daggerfall? I'm open to any suggestions - cheats, hacks, save game edits, whatever. Thanks.

You have two options you can try before resorting to a restart:

1. There is a quest given by Elysana of Wayrest after you have retrieved the emperor's letter. She asks you to escort her cousin somewhere, and assassins will jump you wherever you go. Kill and loot the assassins until you find a note telling where the tomb is, then deliver the girl and move on. This is the backdoor to getting the tomb location, and I'd suggest you start here.

2. There is a utility on UESP called THAW that you can use to reset only part of the main quest. I've never used it, though.

Yes, this sounds perfect. Thank you so much for the help.
