Bear with me on this - I will ask you to keep an open mind.
So Fallout is a great game series, I was first introduced to it with the release of Fallout 3, I thought it was mind blowing. What was better though was that it got me hooked on the lore, I even bought the prequels Fallout 1 & 2 aswell as tactics and I love them. With the arrival of New Vegas my love for the series only grew stronger. ( I guess so much so I could pass for fanatically devoted to it :fallout: ) However I do feel that the current game engine used for Fallout 3 and New Vegas has reached the end of its life. I think it would be a very appealing to see any future Fallout games running on a different engine.
Perhaps something similar to - Read Dead Redemption maybe? It would give the series a fresh look and it would make gameplay somewhat interesting...
I think that future games will use the new Skyrim game engine though, but I would like to hear your ideas and suggestions.

i dont remember if Bethesda actually said it, but i know somewhere i heard that New Vegas was going to be the last game made on the FO3/oblivion game engine (if you didnt know fallout 3 and oblivioin where made on the same engine)
