1-7 Billion Constant Effect

Post » Sat Jun 18, 2011 7:45 pm

I've been searching for hours to find a mod like this, but I'm near giving up. The ES forumers are my last hope.

I was wondering if a mod existed that forces your custom CE armor/clothing to always equip either the maximum enchant value of each piece of armor, or at least close to maximum. Apparently, werewolf and a full suit of CE gear equals epic tediousness. Sorry to devote an entire thread to this, its just been frustrating, and I'm not sure if the Morrowind forums have a "mod detective" thread like the OB ones do. Any advice ( specifically mods, but vanilla advice would help this noob as well) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I'm guessing you are a werewolf that doesn't want to re-equip everything when you change back. If you use MWSE 9.4 (the standalone, as MGE's version is lower) than Yacoby's http://yacoby.silgrad.com/MW/Mods/wwreequip.htm is perfect for you.

Hmm, will that mod reequip my armor/clothes to or around there maximum enchant values? That's my real problem, I don't mind putting everything back on. It's putting everything back on AND getting the higher end of my CE gear values (i.e. I want my 1-47 Sanctuary Constant effect ring to reequip with a value around 45 or 46).

Edit: I should also clarify, that if this/any mod reequipped my belongs with the same CE values as was previously equipped, that would work just as well. Only time my clothes go off is when I turn into a werewolf, as I generally don't change out suits or anything like that.

oooooh. Nope, that mod won't do that. In fact, I don't know of a mod that would do it. :unsure2: Perhaps someone who has been around longer than me might know of one...

Here's hoping. Thanks for the help anyway man, I'll probably put that mod you linked to good use, regardless. Cheers!

I never understood why people like to abuse the mechanics and make constant effects enchantments that have a range. Uber characters get old, really fast. My suggestion is to just enchant everything with a set value. Sure you will only get half as much as possible on the effect, but it is much less tedious.

I wasn't going to say anything for fear of being rude, but I agree. A little tedium is only to be expected when you try to abuse the mechanics of the game like this.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree.

Tedium is the price you pay for those extra points of enchantment strength. There's nothing wrong with making enchantments with a range, just take what you get when you put your stuff back on. Sometimes it will be uber, sometimes it will svck. It's the same as the "wild" spells. You never know whether you're going to get a firestorm or a safety match. :D

Unfortunately doing such a thing is not possible with the scripting engine, nor any of the extenders. The only possibility for something like this at this point would be to hit up Hrnchamd to do it with MCP; to be perfectly honest though, I'd be surprised if it's the sort of thing he would consider.
