I'd like kissing, maybe a little bit more 'softcoe' stuff, though we could stop at six. For immersion I guess if pressed I'd have to say 'Yeah let's have six', but it'd have to be fade to black and none of those stupid sounds like in Fable. Just 'it happened' and then maybe you talk about it afterwards with your romantic interest.

Forming friendships would be great. I really felt like they had something with Mordryn Oreyn (may have misspelled), from the Fighter's Guild. He starts off treating you like any grunt, little respect, all business but as the Fighters Guild unfolds you get the impression that you and him are the two lone activists trying to save your guild, and he depends on you to be his supporter and you depend on him for continued advancement and duties. Then you go to a dungeon together, torture an Argonian together, and by the time you become the Fighters Guild leader you offer him a position as your second in command and he says 'Well I'm really too old for it...but I guess someone needs to make sure you don't bring the guild down around our ears. Haha! I'm in!' He was pretty cool...

So yeah, more stuff like that would be cool. And the option to invite your friend(s) with you to do quests or raid dungeons and split the reward with them. Maybe make them invincible like quest NPC's are in Oblivion...it's just I can't trust the AI to keep my friend alive or not have him take some dumb risk and ruin the relationship with his dismemberment.

Maybe you can designate a single NPC as your 'best friend' provided certain pre-requisites are met (member of same faction, or certain shared interest/goal, high disposition, same race or religion)

Interesting. Or you implying you want a Mulitplayer feature?

No. Any mention I made of 'Friends' strictly infers some friendly NPC character that the game (or you) have designated as one of your characters 'deeper' relationships.

I hope, if they implement the rumour mechanic again, that they let the pop up for the rumour appear after it is said rather than just before the NPCs speak. This happened in Oblivion a lot and it kind of bugged me as I knew what they were going to talk about before they spoke. That said the conversations between NPCs were hardly gripping . . .

Interesting. What if that NPC has a job and is scripted to perform that job and that job only. But what if you get in a realtonship with a member of the Companions (Fighters) Guild?
