Are there many people playing the DLC map packs??

I really like this game. I like it much better than COD:BO. I've played it maybe 1 hour since Crysis 2 came out.

Its saddens me that so many people dislike it, Crytek, EA, whoever is responsible. I guess I'm an optimist and for what it's worth Crysis 2 is very entertaining to play. Seems to me that Crytek could have really had a blockbuster here, but dropped the ball....for most people.

Anyways, I really enjoy the game and was wondering if it's worth to buy the DLC's? Are there many people playing? If so, then I don't mind buying them.

Thanks.

ive bought both map packs and sadly there has hardly been any players on them.
the new maps are a great added bonus to the game if only i could play on them.

Many people thought that 10$ for 4 maps which are mostly copy-pasted from the SP-mode wasn't simply worth it, so most people didn't buy the DLC. Result is that many servers ALSO didn't buy the DLC as if the server starts having the DLC maps next up, everyone without DLC gets kicked. So, they didn't bother with the maps either as many didn't even own said maps.

The same event happened with the second DLC, just that the above thing was also added into the calculation and most people had yet another reason simply not to buy it (even the maps are not 5 instead of 4 and are a bit less based on the SP-maps - but still are taking big parts from it. And the two weapons are considered unbalanced).

Also a problem - you can pay ONLY via creditcard which a lot of people just don't have (like myself) instead of a common payment-method like Paypal. Plus the Creditcard-page looks very unsecure for many people (and maybe even was that for a short time), which ALSO added up to the sum of reasons not to buy the DLCs.
