Hi,

I’m new to the forums and have just purchased the game (it’s still in the post).

However after reading about all the MP issues I’m wondering if I have made a bad choice. Thus I was wondering have Crytek confirmed that they are working on a patch to fix the network/mp issues, as this is where i will spend most of my time?

There was a patch recently but it seems to have made things worse for some.
We could be in for a long wait for another patch or even news of one as Crytek have been terrible in keeping us informed of what they are working on if anything.
The second DLC was available to buy before any mention of it on here, in fact, I still don't think a mod has posted about it!

You made a good decision man. I love this game. They're working on a patch but I don't know when it will be done.

As DiscoDa eluded to, experiences on this game vary widely. A lot of what you see in this forum is the same 8-10 people repeatedly posting their issues. I'm not trying to say some of that complaining isn't worthwhile, but keep that in mind. The majority of people on this forum play the game and have plenty of fun with it. Sure, there's a bug here or there (bit of lag, I'd agree at times) hit detection a bit wonky, random energy loss, etc.... none of those are gamebreakers to me though. Can be a bit annoying, but not anything that to me makes me regret my purchase.

I'm sure there are more updates in the works, but as to when we will get them I have absolutely no idea. It could be a long wait.

I'm not saying that the concerns of others aren't warranted, but don't get worried based off of what you hear. Have confidence in your investment and find out for yourself. Who knows you may really enjoy the game! I know I do! And it would be a shame if simply reading others comments biased you into preventing you from liking it.

Besides, forums are almost always skewed towards the negative side. People who have a problem will explicitly go out of there way to come and post here, while as the people who do not have the problems, do not feel any need to do that.

Pretty much a perfect summary of the game and the forums.

If you like COD and Halo, chances are you'll love multiplayer in this game.
