Trying to uninstall "Animated Window Lighting System&#34

Basically, I installed it via OBMM--great mod, but I'm trying to increase my FPS, so I uninstalled it via OBMM. But with the mod uninstalled, some of my games' windows now appear purple (missing texture?), and there's square-shaped smoke (!) coming out of chimneys. Any ideas? Did the mod's scripts somehow get "saved" in my save?

Try Archive Invalidation? Your game hasn't figured out to go looking at the vanilla BSA's yet.

Nope, that didn't work.

Sounds like it didn't pull all the files out, though I'm not sure why that would occur. Try re-installing and uninstalling one more time, and that should clear it up.

Edit: Though, for the record, AWLS has absolutely no impact on my FPS, even on my old computer, which was built by cavemen out of shells and sinew. If you're looking to gain FPS, cut down on things that add high-rez textures and extra NPCs.

As Khettienna said, AWLS does not have any impact on FPS anyway, so it's a waste of time uninstalling it to improve FPS. Leave it installed and pull something else out instead.
