I'm sure Skyrim will have sunsets and water and provide for great screen shots.

We'll have to go all out for the whole 'cozy fire in a cold, harsh and unforgiving landscape' vibe.

Should be pretty easy considering the mid-autumn launch (if you're lucky enough to live in a temperate zone).

You're actually being serious aren't you.

You should learn some more about what can be achieved with mods, the hud in the OB photos is smaller because of a mod called Darnified UI. And they aren't even at full rez, a modded OB at 1920 x 1080 with hi rez textures and various enhancements like OBGE-liquid water looks even better.

It will be a few years before really good graphics mods are developed for Skyrim, but the game that modders play on PCs will look vastly different in a couple of years time.

Eh, not really, i mean, for some Console players yeah.
I know i gave up on my copy of Morrowind for Xbox when i got my PC version of Oblivion.
But i think any PC player like myself has too many great mods added to thier oblivion games to give up on.

Eh, not really, i mean, for some Console players yeah.
I know i gave up on my copy of Morrowind for Xbox when i got my PC version of Oblivion.
But i think any PC player like myself has too many great mods added to thier oblivion games to give up on.

Exactly, mods are still adding many hours of playtime to these older games, and will continue to do so.

I will keep my fond memories of Oblivion, but life is about moving on and living in the present. I think I will too busy making new memories in Skyrim to miss Oblivion too much.

Exactly. I hope Bethesda doesn't mess up the tavern atmosphere.

It would also be cool to see random campfires with guys sharing war stories and drinking mead warming up.

One of my favourite things in Oblivion was the summer feel, I'll defiantly miss this in Skyrim, but I'll get over it

Well I definitely will clean my memory out of vanilla Oblivion, vanilla Oblivion must sink in oblivion, such mods like on OP pictures can be done for Skyrim like before was done for Morrowind, I believe vanilla Skyrim will be much better then vanilla Oblivion.

Most important province of them Empire, yes I will. But I'm an absolute svcker for vikings and I'd been hoping for Skyrim since Morrowind.
