Umm I think you mean x86 32 - bit.
How much ram do you have? Using x64 bit with less than 3-4gigs of ram is kinda pointless. Is it a legit windows copy?
Its possible that you have an incompatible driver, did you make sure to get the 64bit drivers where-ever possible. Win64 bit chokes hard on incorrect drivers. The main drivers you need to look at are your graphics drivers, audio drivers and chipset drivers.
Possibly you need to tone down Windows Aero or turn it off, I was getting major problems in some games with transparency turned on for the 64bit version of Windows 7.
If you have an ASUS graphics card you need to install all their graphics software in the correct order; Install their drivers for your card, install their two support programs in order (GamerOSD then Graphics Doctor or whatever its called), THEN install the latest drivers from nvidia or ATI (assuming the drivers have been out for at least two weeks).
