Teen rated Oblivion

So the copy of Oblivion I have is rated T, and I know they changed the rating to mature. Would this make my version of the game a rarity and more valuable or no?

That just makes it an older version. No price difference as far as I know.

Probably not "rare", but less common than the M version. I'll see if I can dig up some stats. :)

Sweet :) But yeah I didn't even know Oblivion was rated M until today when a friend commented on it, because I was sure mine was T and he said it wasn't possible. Ah ha! :celebration:

well I tried. went to wikipedia and a couple other sites, but I'm afraid I couldn't find any actual statistics. The Wikpedia page for Oblivion says something like "3 million" were sold, but it doesn't say if that's only during the first year of sales, or overall sales or what. It doesn't break down sales between T and M versions either, although it does say something like the T version was only available during 2006. I might be getting that wrong.

Suffice it to say the Teen version definitely seems like it's the less common version, though. What's supposed to be the diff between Teen and Mature versions anyway? The Mature game (which I own) doesn't seem all that mature..it's not like Grand Theft auto or some super-graphic game. Maybe I'm just conditioned to Oblivion's violence, though. :(
