Truth about hackers on the leaderboards

I always wondered how so many people in Crysis 2 had so much XP after only 3 or so months.

I mean, the top 10 all have like 2,000,000,000 XP.

People usually earn about 5-10,000 XP per game.
Then I did a little math:

Lets say they get 10,000 XP per game.
They would need to do 200,000 games to get 2 billion XP.
And lets say each game takes 10 minutes, that would mean 2,000,000 minutes of gametime.
Then we convert minutes to days: 2,000,000/60=33333.33/24=1388 days.
That's almost 4 years of gametime...
Also, it is 4 years of gametime WITH NO SLEEP.

Then lets say they get 20,000 XP per game. (Double XP Weekend)
They would need to do 100,000 games to get 2 billion XP.
And lets say each game takes 10 minutes, that would mean 1,000,000 minutes of gametime.
Then we convert minutes to days: 1,000,000/60=16666.33/24=694 days.
That's a little under 2 years of gametime...
Also, it is 2 years of gametime WITH NO SLEEP.

So I would go out on a limb to say, everyone above like 10-20 million XP is hacking. I'm not sure I have seen anyone legitimately earn more than that.

Also, the math makes sense that the number is possible:
10 million XP:
10,000 XP per game.
Needed: 1000 games.
Time: 10 minutes per game
10,000 minutes of game time
= 6.94 days (10000 XP) or = 13.8 days (5000 XP)
= 166 hours (10000 XP) or = 333 hours (5000 XP)
This makes more sense, because in the 3 months C2 has been out, someone could have totalled 200+ hours.

20 million XP:
10,000 XP per game.
Needed: 2000 games.
Time: 10 minutes per game
20,000 minutes of game time
= 13.8 days (10000 XP) or = 27.7 days (5000 XP)
= 333 hours (10000 XP) or = 666 hours (5000 XP)
This is stretching it a little, but COULD be possible for die-hard fans.

When I show the numbers for 10,000 XP per game, I am lying a little. I highly doubt anyone gets 10,000 XP per game. I get roughly 5,000.

I myself have played over 200 hours, and only earned about 2 million XP. Then again, I don't play as much as some. However, it would pretty much be impossible for someone to earn over 20 million XP. Even earning roughly 20 million is quite a feat. Even with double XP weekend, this would be near impossible.

BOTTOM LINE: The math shows that those billionaires on the leaderboards, simply could not have earned their experience points legitimately.

Thanks for reading! Ban those hackers!

Cool idea to do the math. Here one for you....

I have played 1081 games in 90 hours and have about 2,026,610 xp according to the c2stats website. I noticed another player has 2535 games in 77 hours with 7,397,324 xp. So how is that possible? What did I miss out on to rank up like that?

I get the feeling that the stats are not all correct for one thing, and there are people hacking in more ways than one.

I think he may have Nano-suit rebooted?
It does erase all of your game time, not sure about # of games but it keeps your XP.
Because if you hack you're bound to get caught, and wouldn't he hack his XP to get ridiculous amounts?

They have removed about 1000 players from the top 1000 for being dodgy, there still are some in the top500 that have done a bit of boosting eg getting 3m exp in 10 rounds, hahahha yeah right. When you reset your nano suit it unlocks the assessments so you get a lot of exp that way again. Most people in the top 1000 have done this, it probably accounts for 1-2 exp.

I wouldn't be bothered too much about the exp rank once you get close to 1k in rank.
