Everyone rate this game 10/10 everywhere..Need more players

Post » Wed Jun 22, 2011 7:55 pm

At least for now this game is probably the benchmark DX11 game out there. Now give it the respect it deserves. There's little reason why only 200 people are playing this on Steam right now. We need 10,000 players a day and tons of servers. Make this **** popular.

Blame Crytek and its greedy DLCs for that.

...No the Steam numbers have been below 2000 since early April, long before any DLC.

Why?

Crysis 2 will never get 10k @ peak time, better yet.. at any given time on the pc.

Until the bugs are gone, editor & dx11 comes... dlc map packs for $10 disappears.. it's not going to happen any time soon.

Why don't you look at MW2 and Blops? they max out at 80k players a day on PC. So why the hell can't Crysis 2 even hit 10k?

crysis 2 is not sold on steam platform anymore since a couple of weeks maybe more, so you can't compare it with mw2 for example that requires steam to work.
as ar as i know you can use the steam keycode to install it using EA's Origin so Steam players are going to disappear probably..
btw every time i decide to play online i find always opponents at any time, that's the most important thing. if we are 1000 instead of 10000 i don't really care :)
i've stopped playing c2 multiplayer since the 2nd dlc came out. the fy71 really pissed me off.
still have to play single player, waiting for dx11

DLC 2 didn't really affect me at all, the scar and jackel are still awesome. I am hoping DX11 will fix the smoke issue with the scarab and silencer, then the scarab will be awesome too.

Maybe you've forgotten this isn't a call of duty game.

If they can't hit 10k mark on the pc, than you know there's something wrong. Have you forgotten why people left Crysis 2 in the first place? Rating it 10/10 wouldn't do anything, it'll just make them look like Crysis 2 fanboys. If anyone actually thinks the pc version @ it's current state deserves 10/10 right now must be out of their mind.

If Crysis 2 gets more players, it's because they've improved the game. I haven't seen any major improvements for me to say "Hey, let me tell all my friends right now that Crysis 2 is a beast"

Crysis 2 is fun, but it has gotten stale already. We need more content. Free content, not something you have to pay for.

Too many people have bad mouthed the game and reduced it to almost nothing, it's really quite sad because it really is much better than any cod. If I could bring it back alive I would, I've told my friends about how good it is but they just keep on playing their cod or whatever.

I really believe that if EA didnt force it out at it's unfinished state it might've been alright, and instead of so many people bad mouthing it, giving it good word could've helped it become more popular.

I myself love the game, it's seriously the game I was waiting for and it didn't let me down at all. I'm still playing the single player campaign over and over, just like I did with Crysis 1, and I'm still competetively playing in multiplayer.

People have been just so inpatient and demanding, and it actually gives the PC community a bad image. I mean who seriously would want to make a PC game after being so harshly critisized, I know I wouldn't.

Removing grinding or having a "cheat button" to unlock everything would help my other friends get into it. Along with a balance to the ammo counts of all the guns and some possible slightly bullet physic changes (faster grendel bullet :P)

The game feels stale because every gun is the same and only a handful of modules make a difference. I've made alot of suggestions that wouldn't change much, but add miles to the game.

Weapon Balance: https://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=30854

Armor enhance debate (With 12 pages of other stuff too): https://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=29226

Honestly I'd love the skill level to be raised in this game, in summary of those posts:
The guns need to have less bullets to reward aim more and spray less.
All the underused modules should be buffed to make sizable differences to one another.
