"Ori command" CS equivalent?

Post » Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:00 pm

hello. I've been trying to work on compatibility between mods lately. But to do so, I cannot have any of the mods active because some of the changes don't hold from the non-active ones (landscape changes is the big thing that comes to mind). So when I look at them all to see what's wrong between them, I cannot tell which mod causes the issue. In game, the 'ori' command tells me the mod origin, but is there a similar tool in CS that can do this as well? If so, it would significantly speed up my work...

I don't believe there is...not that I can think of. Perhaps someone who does more world building than I do knows of something I don't though.

I'd think the best you can do though is to perhaps just enable multiple instances of the CS and have two of them open so you can compare the differences.

That could work I guess. Seems to less-than-hoped-for solution, I guess it works better than what I'm doing now. Anyway I can change the window sizes in CS WITHOUT them saving as default later on? Usually I change the render window a bit larger when I'm looking at things, but when I get on CS the next time, that window is still large. I don't like that >.>

You could try having the Enchanted Editor open at the same time, so you can view the info of the esp that way, then compare it to the esps you have loaded in the CS.
Doesn't give a visual of it, but at least you can get the basic idea.
Probably faster than opening each individual esp in the CS, although the CS will give you a much better representation of what's going on.

Return them to normal size before closing the CS :P

It's always the simple answers huh? :P Fine, I'll just resize them before I close :)
