The narration says he's Colovian. But usually names that sound more modern are either Breton (if they sound European) or Redguard. But then there's also the occasional desire of parents to give their child foreign-sounding names, like this guy I know named Tiberius. So I wouldn't put too much into it.

Really?! Most Imperial, Redguard, and Breton names are real life names.
