character model (level model)

Post » Fri Jun 24, 2011 10:11 am

just finished another playthrough of fallout 3. amazing as usual!

got an idea to make a scale model of john henry eden for an art project, but don't know enough about the inner workings of the game to find or see character/level models to get details/dimensions. is there any way somebody could send me the model (and suggest a viewing tool or app?) of the level? i know this is asking much, but i really want to do this!

any help will be much much appreciated--thanks!!!

No ~They can't send you the model, but if you have the PC version, and the "http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640", it can be used to easily extract the mesh & textures.
http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope can be used to load the textured model; and http://www.blender.org/ or http://www.caligari.com/ can easily be used to http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/sm3.jpg.
*Or even just screen-capture the model as http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/nifskope.jpg.

Its not as difficult as it seems, and its free to attempt.
