You have just recently locked my topic which was NOT an idea thread. I was simply asking a question as to why Chicago would suit the Fallout universe and if there have been any in-game notes regarding its history and current status. However, you seem to think that it was a topic discussing 'Fallout 4 location ideas'. I can assure you that I was simply curious and asking questions for other members to answer. If I were to have asked these questions in the 'Fallout 4 location ideas' topic, then it would not be suitable as my questions were not 'ideas'.

If you read the forum rules - one of the interesting bits of information there is that we ask that you don't create threads like this to debate a moderator's actions. We are all very accessible and a PM to HD or any moderator to discuss your concerns would be responded to. So I will lock this. I'll let HD know you had some questions about his lock.

I read the entire thread before locking it. Discussion of a location, and why it would or would not be suitable for a Fallout game, is exactly why we have the official location thread. If you wanted to strictly discuss pre-War Chicago then a thread in the Fallout Universe forum would be appropriate, but your thread is clearly for discussing this in game-related terms: "Could anyone please inform me of how a 50's era Chicago will suit a future Fallout title."

If you wish to discuss the matter you're welcome to PM me, however as Leydenne has already pointed out this thread is inappropriate.
