I had the regular Fallout 3 and played it as far as I could. I just bought the GotY edition and loaded it, but my saved games aren't carrying over. The only option on the opening screen is "new" game. "Continue" and "Load" aren't highlighted and can't be used. What can I do? I really don't want to start all over. I bought the GotY so I could continue powering up the character I've made. I just want my current character to be used in the add-ons.

I've ejected the disk and reloaded it and it still doesn't work. I tried clicking on each of the downloads in the list and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I searched but all I found was the section of the FAQ that says my current saved games will work, but no instruction on how to make them work.

Edit: This is for a PS3.

Edit: I just realized that somehow I got a UK version. I just saw a thread about compatibility issues but I couldn't find a fix to make them work togther. Is it possible? Can anyone point me in the right direction or am I just screwed?
