I was uncertain where to post this, but here goes!

I have a facepack mod which I adore, but the Dark Elf face I want to play has dark, dark purple lips and I would have loved to alter the colour into a more skin-toned colour suitable for a Dunmer. It would be for personal use only. What tools are used to set colour on textures? Photoshop?

Any help is appriciated!

for minor changes (sounds like that) i use http://www.getpaint.net/, sometimes backed up by http://www.gimp.org/windows/.
pain.net is able to load .dds-files and is particularly useful when you're editing many of them (tab-function)
the gimp offers some more advanced options (which i admittedly do not use very much; i'm not a texture freak)
