hey all i was having some installation problems a few days ago and one of the recommended fixes was to delete my ini and let the game create a new one


i deleted it, game still seems to play fine, but i cant seem to find my ini now and obmm wont start up without it.... pls help >.<

It'll be where it always is, the game automatically recreates it when it disappears. If it truly does not exist, then copy Oblivion_default.ini from the Oblivion game directory into the Documents\My Games\Oblivion\ directory, and rename it so that "_default" is removed from the filename.

If the game plays fine you have an Oblivion.ini, so you'll probably checking in the wrong folder. Unless you deleted the Oblivion_default.ini, perhaps. But that should never be deleted.

ahh found it apparenetly i deleted it from one file to fix something i just had to copy paste it back into a separate file and it worked again
