Reboot at login screen, now profile is gone. Please help!

I was at the login screen and just about to click log in when I had a power outage and PC went off. Started it all back up and now no serial key entered and my default profile is missing. No SP, no MP data. Looks like I started Crysis 2 for the first time ever.

I noticed that my profile.xml file under "WINDOWSuserNAME/saved games/Crysis 2/profiles" is now blank if I open it in notepad.

Any solution to this? I tried looking throuh the forum using search and found threads with no info.

Thanks.

I have already tried finding a way to decrypt profile.xml files. I made a new one and saw that the profile.xml is generated was not blank like my original profile was. So I want to copy it over and then edit it so it points to my old profiles saves and so on.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a program to do so. I only found one for xbox but I am guessing that xbox doesn't use the same encryption as the PC version for the xml file because it "decrypted" into just more random characters.

Any help or someone to point me in the right direction to restoring my profile would be greatly appreciated. I still see saved games in the folder, they just wont show up in game, also I want my MP progress back. I have around 50+ hours of MP logged....
