Playing Fallout 3&NV on the PC

Post » Sat Jun 25, 2011 2:40 am

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not much of a gamer and play the above in the 360. I'm interested in playing them on the PC and playing with the mods I've heard so much about.

I'd like to know if my PC will run them ok, it's not really a gaming machine. It's basic specs are;

Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz
6GB RAM
ATI FireGL V5600 graphics card

Will this be enough? I'll save my other questions until I find out if I can play then or not.

Cheers!

I suspect you should be completely fine. Of course, I'm not familiar with that video card, so I can't say for sure.

Yes, you should be fine. I run the games fine on my computer, and I think you have a little better than me.

Great, thanks for your taking the time to answer. It's a workstation and is geared towards CAD applications, and I don't know how much difference there is between gaming graphics and CAD graphics and if they will do each others job.
