Okay I was playing Oblivion while talking to my friend right next to me and thought out loud, "wouldn't it be great if bethesda had hand and a half swords in the game?"
Alls it would require is the ability to toggle a sword between one hand and two hands. Given how the individual hands in Skyrim work, it would only require a small bit of coding to allow you to equip both hands to one sword. Given the ability to hotkey and favorite your weapon and spell configurations this would allow you to switch the weapon between one and two hands on the fly. Kinda hope they add something like this to the game.

One-handed weapons can be toggled to be wielded with two hands, atleast that's what I read a while back. Pretty sure it won't work with daggers and short swords though.

I have problems with closing statements, anywho thats awesome if true that way I dont have to lug around a two-hander and a one-hander.

I like using my one handed weapon with two hand when Im not using anything else.

Yeah, I suggested this a while ago, I thought it would be great for people who want to try being a pure warrior and learning all the warrior skills (which would mean 1 and 2 hand) since at times, they can just use their weapon different ways to get different advantages.
