Much Harder to kill at Lookout Point

Went through Operation Anchorage with the sole purpose of getting the stealth armor and Gauss Rifle.

As a consequence, I could usually take down most mutants with a couple of shots, gouls were even easier, and while the Talon guys could be tougher (because they tend to be better organized and to surprise me when I'm coming out of a Metro gate, for some reason), I could usually handle them without much difficulty. If nothing else worked, I could generally go to stealth mode and run away from them.

Anyway, the Gauss Rifle was starting to get in bad need of repair, so I decided to go to the Point and see if the repair man there was as good as everyone said he is. Yes, he is, but the enemies at LP seem to be a lot tougher. Everyone! What's the deal with that?

And by the way, I did the Velvet Curtain for the first time. Nice quest, although I can't quite understand what I am doing completing a covert assignment by the Chinese ordered 200 years ago. I mean, what's my motivation (other than curiosity)?

Not much deal other then the developers making the add-on difficult. They even said in one of their interviews: to play this add-on at-level 18+(or something like that). Them swamp folk can take more hits then BOS soldiers in their hard-shell armor.
