Pregnant Women

Post » Sun Jun 26, 2011 9:01 pm

You know, and bear with me on this people, if done right it could add a startling level of emotion and maturity.

What if your "Contract" as Lucian calls it, to join the Skyrim chapter of the Dark Brotherhood is to kill a pregnant woman marked for death like Rufio was? say she's marked for death for carrying the child of a count or a guard captain?

This would destroy the way people look at the Brotherhood now, as just a sort of club for assassins, and would instead show them for what they truely are; A Deranged Cult of Psychopaths and Serial Killers.

At the same time, it would also bring much, MUCH starker and more realistic reality to the game. And something tells me that the Dark Brotherhood wouldn't have nearly as many willing participants.

Would be an amazing quest, yet the rating boards would go nuts over it :sadvaultboy:

Yeah

Maybe even a pregnant woman mount for when travel by horse gets boring

Being a woman and having been pregnant, I can assure you that horseback or any sort of mounted creature ride while pregnant would be a most uncomfortable and dangerous one.
Unless of course, you mean to ride a pregnant woman, in which case, that is disrespectful and idiotic.
As for the op's question, no, I don't think pregnant women are going to add anything to Skyrim except morning vomiting and strange food combinations.

Duno how i feel about pregnant women, as long as they don't expect child support from my character.

Yeah...I feel it would be rather morbid to cut down a pregnant lady.

Don't see the point unless it's involved in a quest. Not a fan of unkillable NPC's.

^this

i would only want them (less than 5) to be in for a few quests.

I have visions of an attractive barmaid whose back is turned, being heckled by drunken adventures, turning round. Showing us her pregnancy in all it's glory, serving up morning sickness and ales.

Granted, you're probly right. But case and point;

In Dragon Age Origins there's a quest in which one of the outcomes has you Killing a demon posessed 8 Yearold after having to knock his mother unconcious. Never have I heard any controvesy related to that.

In Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Kills like AN ENTIRE ROOM OF CHILDREN but that movie is only rated PG13.

On that note, children die in movies on camera all the time.

Why is The a Double Standard?!
