I dont think anyone has really gotten that close to a dragon to say for sure. Also, I don't believe we have ever heard one talk in Skyrim yet either. If locational damage makes it in and they are in fact, all male...then that is just another thing to take advantage of.

I guess the Jills could be asixual, but I'm not familiar with dragon physiology.

They talk when they use dragonshouts and magic. Also, there have been a couple more examples of male talking dragons in other TES games. (Redguard being the most memorable)

Also, @OP - Why does it matter if they're male or female? jw

I'm not sure that the dragons in Skyrim are "natural" beasts. Sort of like Dremora, in a way.

AFAIK every monster you fight in ES games is only ever seen in one gender. Well, aside from when you're fighting one of the ten main player-character races. I wouldn't mind being shown that I'm wrong though

This matters how? A whole lot of general sixuality speculations in the forums as of late. Reminds me of the Stan lee scene in mall rats.

The dremora page at uesp states they are male dominated, don't know if that just means only males fight or if there are only male dremora period, but all the dremora you fight on OB are male.

The dragons could be genderless as since they're magical beings they may not need to breed. Or it could be like Reign of Fire where they're all one gender and then there's just one of the opposite gender, Alduin.

Looking in the CS there were both male and female dremora in Oblivion. Female dremora however being far fewer represented. Wes Johnson voiced both dremora genders, but that could be because Oblivion only has a handful of voice actors to begin with.

'jill' is an archaic term for female dragon.

Lizards keep their "stuff" well stowed, so you wouldn't be able to tell either way unless he was "ready for action". And I doubt we'd be chatting with any to hear their voice.

If the dragons are indeed Jills, then they considering all known information about Jills describes them as being female dragons....they're totally dudes. But you guys also gotta remember that the dragons are pretty much demi-gods.
