As most of you all are aware, Crysis 2 Patch 1.9 and Packs are released tomorrow!!

I was talking to one of my mates who is a game dev and tester, and he said its not suppose to be as demanding as Crysis 1, because Crytek learned there lesson, and not everyone is a millionaire haha! So we shall see if he is right or not!

Also i have a GTX 480 and an i7 960 @ 3.8Ghz and he says i should be fine from what he's seen being developed, to play it fine!

He also says that with these optional DX11 and HRT packs and patch 1.9, he says that it WILL look better than Crysis 1 now! And he's very certain about that, so again, lets see tomorrow!

Crysis 1 had A LOT of optimization issues! If they learned from that then yes, the game will run better. Also DX11 runs better than DX10 does, so that should help.

DAMN IT >On the side note, i got gtx 560 ti which is aprox same horsepower as gtx 480 so then i should be fine too with Q8400 OCed at 3.5ghz^^

Indeed! Sorry i was meaning to right that DX11 and Better optimization would be the benefit to running this maxed out, my mistake! hehe

The GTX 560ti doesnt have close the same horsepower of a 480, maybe closer to a 470?

in some benchmarks your card falls even up to about 30FPS behind mine

But its still a great card for SLI action!!!!!!

Maybe you wont get it on the 27th CryCizm. Most companies do a equal release time, so they go by the latest time zone which i think is California. IF Crytek does that you may not see it till REALLY late 27th or early 28th. or it could be the opposite, maybe its the 27th for you and the 26th for us.

The reason people do equal releases is because when another country gets it first, it all over the internet for download. My guess is you will find a legit version of 1.9 on the 26th (for US) if you are not willing to wait.

if it is released for us Aussies tomorrow, then yes that will be the case, but if they release it globally, then yeah, we'll be waiting till late monday / early tuesday

I'm with XziLLer8 there, it's too confusing and I can't be stuffed waiting till tuesday.
Where's an admin when you need it? They don't seemingly respond to people as much...

Monday uk time between 10am & 10pm, i guess afternoon, about one.
*this opinion is based on past releases and on the fact Crytek works mon-fri, weekends off.
