Voice Acting...

When thinking about my few concerns with the game(very few, the game looks amazing and i cant wait to sink tons of hours into it), quite a few of them seem like they might just stem from the shift to voice acting.

[1] MY main problem is the lesser quest detail/direction(this leads to quest markers). In morrowind you would have some extensive written dialogue explaining detailed directions to get to a specific location telling you which rivers to cross, which big rocks to look for, which Forts that will tell you youve gone too far. Then, most likely due to the shift to voice acting (my thoughts i could be wrong)causing dialogue limitations, you just get a quest marker with little to no direction, verbal or written. It seems that bethesda just having their voice actors say something like "this information isnt to be heard by anyone else...let me write that down for you" would be a good way to circumvent this problem.

Many say they hope there will be a toggle for quest markers...which i hope for as well, maybe it could be an effect of higher difficulty options. But the fact of the matter is that when there is little to zero dialogue to rely upon in the first place, turning off the markers can be completely devestating because of the non detailed quest descriptions. Id like to see possibly what i suggested above...people offering to write down things for you. Seems like it would allow for a much wider range of dialogue/conversation/interaction.

[2] This doesnt bother me all that much but there have been several people mentioning that the reason for class titles to be cut would be due to voice acting not being fleshed out for them as it would seem difficult to , especially not custom classes.

Personally this one doesnt bother me all that much, but it is pretty awesome talking to people and having them acknowledge you for your skill/deeds/whatever (<---class title).

I had a few more in mind but i cant remember them atm lol, the quest one was the main issue for me and i was wondering if anyone felt the same. Or if everyones thought the move to voice acting has been all kinds of great?

I'm not too happy about the amount of voice actors they have. I wasn't too happy about Oblivion's full voice acting, but it was livable. I feel that the fact that they have (70?) voice actors will just get ridiculous. We'll be seeing either a massive cut of dialogue, or a game lacking in other content. And no, they can't compress files to 0b.

One good actor per race is FINE. Morrowind's spoken dialogue was great (think chargen), and they only had one actor per race, and a few special characters.

I would be fine if there were more than one disc, but unfortunatly, due to several silly reasons, they wont do it.

My real worry of voice acting is that their former ties will make them hire bad people to do it again. I mean, I loved the Khajits and one of the Imperial males but everything else was just horrid. The biggest thing for me is that the Nords might get the same voice actress, which will probably destroy the experience of being in Skyrim utterly. They need to realize when mistakes are made and amend them post haste. As for the dialogue, it will probably be the same laughable stuff as before, even if it's more descriptive.

What's wrong with having a nice variety of voices? I think the biggest problem with Oblivion's voice acting is that they only had 14 actors doing 10 races. The same guy did all male Argonians, Khajiit, Orcs, and Nords, and one woman voiced all of the female elves. That is completely unacceptable, in my opinion. 70 voice actors means that each race will probably get 6 different voice actors (3 male, 3 female) as well as a few NPCs with unique voice actors.

And I doubt this will cause any kind of cut in the mount of dialogue. Look at the cast for http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706601/fullcredits#cast. That's a lot of voice actors, yet it still had an incredible amount of dialogue.
