My Brothers brief C2 experience this afternoon lol

Post » Mon Jun 27, 2011 2:18 am

My brother played 4 games this morning and he had me in stitches.

So a little background, his first experience with the game was he has glitched and instantly became a level 50, 5th prestige. This essentially ruined the game for him from the start and he is 239th in the world after about 5 hours in-game played. I posted about this before a couple days back but heard nothing. You can find him he's called "GenerousMedusa9" on the Leaderboards.

I'm starting to think that perhaps not all the high ranked people with low play time are boosters and that some of them have multiples profiles which this glitch has happened on.

He played this afternoon and this is what happened.

1st game - Played TIA and had a graphical glitch which when happens automatically gives you a bacl screen when the game ends. Had to restart the xbox.

2nd - Had a failed host migrations 30 secs in.

3rd - Failed host migrations and no sounds in game except for deaths.

4th - Joined game with no sound.

What made me laugh when he was playing it is that he's a completely new player on C2 and he was getting so pissed off.

He said "What the f*** is wrong with this game? there's so many bugs with it. Did they just say think that now that they have our money their like hahaha screw ya!. I played for a couple hours yesterday and had to turn the xbox off about 5-6 times. It's like a demo game, not final release. Waste of money and the host is so powerful. Why is host almost always in top 3 and when I watch you (refering to me) even if you go 25-5 on IA then 2-3 of those deaths will be by host and it's so laggy all the time. Constant BS deaths. I want to play it but it's too much hard work. F*** it! I'm going back to Tales of Vesperia!".

I know this isn't my xbox as no other game on it has ever been this bad and I've played about 15 games on it.

He's not the greatest player with about a 1.5 KD since he's new but I can imagine how pissed I would be if I found the game challenging enough as it is and just wanted to play it for fun. Because I do well on it it kinda offsets the frustrations but he has not as many positive emotions to counter the constant negative emotions.

Didn't read and I doubt anybody cares about your story.

Let me guess, you're complaining the whole story as always right? Or is it your brothers turn to complain?

I guess it runs in the family.

I have actually played with your brother before, and I remember contemplating how someone that highly ranked were not better at the game, I guess this story explains it.

Yeah, he's not that good yet but he's only played a few hours on it.

I don't think he will get better either he can't stomach the annoyances lol.. when I got the game on release I was so addicted I could have overlooked it but he's more casual with it (as you really should be with video games imo) so he has less tolerance for it, he would rather play another working game or do something in "real life".
