Though the mammary glands could be a past adaptation rendered useless (like the human tailbone), since it is an old mutated trait, seen in all Argonians through all TES games, its unlikely. They could also be some sort of mating bumps, although this is impractical since all sub species (game wise) have these and would be a later adaptation, on a regional level. If they truly produce food for offspring, they would most likely have few children (few inner eggs, those eggs however are not nourished by a yolk, but a respiratory gas exchange) since Argonians are ovoviviparous.

Assuming there is some sort of nourishment in the bumps, it wouldn't be milk. It would probably be some sort of Hist sap concoction. This is a huge step in evolution, being able to feed your own young, although like stated above, you usually have fewer children. but a few sentences from a dev could change it all.

They may be facultative or excersize endotherms, but their size and level of activiity shows they are not exothermic.
Their bodies are not dependant on outside temperatures.

This was discussed in this thread the last time, and then the Wiki was fixed:
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1186050-will-argonians-be-in-it/page__st__40__p__17616772#entry17616772

Argonians definitely generate body heat as they do move around a lot. Also I don't think a totally cold-blooded creature would have fast enough metabolism to be able to have high brain activity.

It's going to be interesting to see if Argonians have thicker scales or bodies in Skyrim.

Its called Scaled pudding in Argonia.

ok ok, im a Argonian fan, BUT i have to be honest the idea of playing a cold-blooded Argonian who grew up in a swamp but now lives in Skyrim kinda makes me feel stupid and unrealistic for some reason "yes i know this is a RPG where dragons exsits and you can throw fireballs at your finger tips"
Argonians are Cold blooded, my only sources is in Morrowind Argonians call you warm-blood
So i was wondering if anybody knew if there was any explanation of Argonians surviving the cold trundra in Skyrim... or if anyone had any ideas. Or is my Argonian frozen to death at the first dungeon before he could save Skyrim

P.s. Dragons aret reptiles and are not cold-blooded, i read this somewhere and yes "they will freezing to death" is a grammer error sorry

Reptiles CAN survive in cold places ( Canada for example has lots of reptiles ). However most of them hibernate themselves in the winter and come back in spring.
However keep in mind that Argonians are BIG reptiles and can wear clothes!!! Clothes can keep them warm.

I agree that an Argonian should spend time of its day sleeping under the sun :) I believe that they can survive like that!

I don't think it matters too much; If they said it was too cold for Argonians then people would start to wonder about the dragons; It wouldn't be very impressive if it was like War of the Worlds and the dragons come and start tearing up the place but then just start dropping dead from the cold without you doing anything. They just both don't have to be normal reptiles for different reasons. Maybe give the Argonians a big ice weakness.

There's also a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Vampires_of_the_Iliac_Bay,_Chapter_II that says that vampires can only survive off warm-blooded creatures, but they didn't have any problem with Argonians in Oblivion, so inconsistency can't be completely avoided either way.

Okay okay....If there should not be any Argonian in Skyrim cause the look like a Reptile, then there should not be any Dragons either cause they should be coldblooded too...

I personally want my Argonians and dragons and its never been 100% confirmed that they are cold blooded

People forget this is a Game...I have not ever seen a game that applied 100% realism into it, and if they did I bet it would be boring.

Logic.

Logic dictates they're reptiles, and therefore cold-blooded. Also, they call you "warm-blood."

Logic actually dictates they are not exothermic. Their size and activeness clearly shows this.
They may be facultative endotherms or excersize endotherms but they are not exothermic, or 'cold-blooded'.
Large exotherms spend most of their time resting to conserve energy or sunbathing.
The large carnivores like alligators and komodo dragons only eat a (large) meal every month or so. They can be very fast, for a short time, but on the whole they are not very active.

you'll pass out from time to time to hibernate until the weather gets a bit warmer, hopefully you aren't found by anything.

Sorry if posted before, can't be bothered to read seven pages :
"Right-Wind comments that the cold in Bruma isn't so bad. "You get used to the cold. Got a good set of fur boots to keep my feet warm. Give a Nord a good thumping to keep the blood flowing, khah-khah-khah." This is ironic as he actually wears leather boots."
