Best house to display your spoils of war

Post » Tue Jun 28, 2011 9:25 am

Whats the best place to buy a house for the specific purpose of turning it into a museum of your accomplishments??? I have a ton of artifacts and such but they are all sitting in a wardrobe right now and I want to be able to see them. I have all DLC and I've been thinking about buying a house anyway so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks everyone! :)

If you have all DLC, then i think Battlehorn Castle, would be the number 1 option. Else try Roesethorn Hall, in Skingrad.

Are there any places where you can put your armor on a stand like on knights of the nine besides the actual place at the prior, or is that only through that expansion?

I don't think that is possible, without mods. I think there is a cool, wellfunctioning mannequin mod. Try to search for Mannequin mod, on TESNesxus, or so.

Thanks for the tip but I play on 360, and now I wish my computer still worked.

No problem. And that's bad... Now there's only the option i think you don't want to hear... Manually placing on shelves, tables etc.

I play on the 360 as well. I use the floating paintbrushes to create little shelves every where to put things on. It takes some practice and some patients. I have all the DLC, and my favorite is Frostcrag Spire. I have a complete set of every armor hanging all over the walls, along with the weapons. I just set the boots on the floor. I also hang torches every where for some cool effects.

I play on 360. Rosethorn Hall is probably the best. I'd choose Benirus Manor in Anvil next. I like putting my newest hot item on the dike Van Dyke table.

Rosethorn Hall usually, yes. But since he has all DLC, i guess he has Battlehorn Castle, and that is a great option!

The house across from Rosethorn Hall, if you dabbled in the DB quests, has a number of safe chests, as well as sacks in the basemant. I like how expansive the first floor is. Currently I live in Cheydinhal, and have found it to be quite nice for displays of spoils and pretty things.
