Scrolls seem good, if they could do a believable pistol like cross bow that could be super cool. Maybe throwable weapons like knives or darts.

first off, crossbows won't be in (Todd has said this many many times) but maybe actually having to hold scrolls/potions would be a good idea

Torches are confirmed to be used as weapons as well, so duel wield torches we be good for a darker dungeon or running around setting people on fire. :flamethrower:
