This thread is mainly aimed at all the people that say... "im not paying for a game i've already bought.. again!" and... "Crytek are thieves for wanting me to pay for dlc!"..

Crytek have just spent god knows how many man hours bringing out this dx11 patch. Some of you may say it should have come with the original build.. However... they didn't need to bring out this dx11 patch.. but they did and they have brought it out for free.. so do them a favor and go buy the new DLC map pack! I have both map packs and they are both great! We need more DLC players to fill the servers so now is a great opportunity to get back into the game with a whole new look and with new maps!

I bought the first map pack as soon as it became available. The only time I've been able to play on those maps are on that same night. Ever since NO ONE has been on them. I search by map and get nothing. This leads me to not want to buy the second DLC. Even though I want the gun

I too would gladly buy the new maps, but the retaliation servers are always empty.... The dlc maps have been a failure for the pc market. I suggest that ea either offers them for free or drops the price. 20 euros for 9 maps is just too much for some people.

DirectX 11 is a patch, while high-res texture pack is a FREE DLC! So thanks Crytek!

Okay lets get this one thing straight... Crytek did NOT do this out of pure generosity, there was also incentive for them to produce this patch to make CryEngine 3 a more appealing platform for developers on both PC and the next gen XBOX, so stop kissing ass.
While I commend Crytek on this latest patch and am appreciative of it, some people just take things to far...
