apologies for putting question here (there doesn't seem to be a daggerfall thread on this site. after finding out that i could download it legitimately from bethesda site (which i have done) i also have downloaded dosbox as well.have extracted the daggerfall file,but do not know what to do next (i have tried to install it/clicked on install option) the screen then just goes black/nothing seems to happen.would be grateful for any advice as i need my fix of the elder scrolls (currently do not have any elder scrolls games am waiting to buy 5th ann/skyrim obviously thanks in advance EDIT just noticed the past elder scrolls forum on main menu DOH! apologies moderator,would be very grateful if you could move this to there.thank you kindly and blessings of the nine upon ye :wink_smile:

There a program that does everything for you, has dosbox and DF in a bundle and its things very real, can't recall the name of it, start searching google for Daggerfall install,etc.

yes it works (i think well the main menu at least.i will no doubt be back though to ask for help e.t.c playing the game (as i'm a rubbish gamer i must admit to loving older games (i started on the C64 back in the 80's.great times
