What advanced graphics options need to decrease ?

Post » Wed Jun 29, 2011 11:35 am

Well, in the advanced graphics options there are this options:

Game Effects
Object
Particles
Post Processing
Shading
Shadows
Water
Motion Blur Ammount(i don't use this)

So i ask, have you played with the settings under DX11 ?

Witch setting eats more FPS ?

My PS Specs:
intel i5 750 @3.8ghz
6gb ram ddr3
nvidia gtx570 direct cu II
60gb SSD(game installed there)

So far I've found that it's the tessellation that causes the biggest frame rate drop.

Normally with all the settings maxed I get around a pathetic 14 fps. I forced off the tessellation and started hovering just above 22 fps, which is playable.

Still trying to figure out how to control the amount of tessellation in-game, because it just looks so damn awesome that I want some of it at least.

i reduced shadows, water, and particles to high... the rest under extreme...

thats the only way for me to get a decent fps in multiplayer...

take note in 1.8 everything was extreme.

How the hell is 22fps playable? At that rate you can actually watch the game chug chug chug along. Come on you cant be serious? If my pc would only run 22 fps for my games I would throw it out the window after I ordered all new components from newegg and amazon.

Dx11 1080p everything on ultra except post processing which I set on high + motion blur on high and the game runs great and looks amazing.
For my setup turning post processing to high has given me a massive fps boost.
