I wrote a story?

Since I really have nothing better to do at the moment I decided to make a story.
I dunno if you guys will like it but if you do I will make more.
The time set is after the Argonians conquered over Vvardenfell.

Chapter 1. Refugees

"Flavios, I cannot see. Are you there?"

"Yes Arvendil, I am still here. I understand it is hard to see in these Telvanni towers, but be glad you are here."

"Flavios, do you know any lighting spells? I wish to be able to see. If I wish to help rid of these scum Argonians from our native land..."

"I understand you. I know a light spell called starlight. I can teach you it later but for now we must use these torches and meet up with our trainer now."

Flavios had previously saved Arvendil from argonians that were invading his small cottage near Tel Vos. Arvendil was simply a farmer that barely understood magic, let alone combat. Luckily Flavios, a local ranger, knew how to use a bow and keep a good distance. The argonians are now reaching the eastern coast of Vvardenfell and the Telvanni are a last defence for the regions to the east. House Hlallu and Redoran were greatly dismembered after the eruption of Red Mountain. Ald'ruhn, Fort Buckmoth, Maar Gan, Calderal, and Balmora were all destroyed from the lava. All that remains are ash ruins of the cities. Ash is still in the air and is bringing back a disease that is similar to the previous blight disease. The ash fills your lungs if you get to high altitudes and it slowly burns your insides, driving you insane, and it makes you cough blood. It also makes you feel fatigued and seems to make you feel weaker and slower.

The Telvanni tower Flavios and Arvendil, the two dunmer friends are staying, is in Sadrith Mora, the homeland of the Telvanni. Argonian and Khajiit's are still sold as slaves by the Telvanni and much trade is still brought to the ports. Telvanni bug musk is in high demand still and with few remnants of the mages guild, many now have to go to the Telvanni to learn about magic powers. As of now the Telvanni are bind with great mages trying to make a ritual to summon a magic shield to block out all opposing forces. The shield will reach from the whole east coast to the remaining holy city and cathedral; Vivec.

Flavios and Arvendil are learning magical skills from their Sorcerer, Javick, a Lawman in the house Telvanni.

"Hello Flavios and Arvendil, I am Javick, your teacher."

"I am lucky to be here. I'm probably only alive because of Flavios." Said Arvendil.

"I am lucky to be here aswell Arvendil." Replied Flavios.

"Well, I will give you skills instead of luck to rely on. First I will teach you the magics of Alteration and Restoration, the magic of defence and change in the world, and the magic of healing and rejuvination."

After some hours of training, Arvendil and Flavios could breathe and walk on water, summon magical shields and heal aching limbs. Now they were aquainted to using minor magic skills. They were now novices of Javick. The day ended and they were now in their assigned quarters in the lower level of the spire. The room they were in had oil lamps for lighting, a small reading room, 2 beds, a restroom, and a main room that had a small kitchen on it's left side. It was warm but dark, so Flavios taught Arvendil the starlight spell so he could see more around him.

Since the Telvanni were magic master, anything could happen. To reach higher levels of the spire, you had to prove your magic and mental ability and prove you could levitate to the higher levels. Conjuring daedra was acceptable and often done, for they were loyal to the Telvanni master that summoned them. Illusion magic is used often too, to help people see in the spire, for it was very dark and only few torches were used for light. Argonian slaves were forced to wear bracers of silencing and light so they couldn't cast magic spells and the lighting spell would show where they are. Some rebelious argonians were forced to wear bracers that had magic the drained all combat abilities.

Sinister magic made slaves obedient. Now that Arvendil and Flavios were learning this magic, they now had a new begining...

Sorry, but this is the wrong board for this. There's another section for art and fan fiction.

Pretty good, but it's too old fashioned. You really need something that tells the reader that your are on the forefront of modern fantasy, and that something is lots of [censored]. The more horrifying, the better. Now having the victim be a minor or a virgin is a good start, but you need a little something extra, like having her loved ones forced to watch. Preferably, all but one of them die. "That's brilliant!" you exclaim, "the perfect setup for a revenge plot! Gives that reader the sweet sense of vindication when the villains meet justice!" Well I'm sorry to inform you that sort of thing went out of style ages ago. Sure, your hero goes through many hardship (like getting [censored]), meets lots of new friends (who get [censored]), and struggles with moral quandaries (like when he raqes someone), but at the end, good triumphs over evil, right? Wrong. Happy endings might be good for your children's Disney movies, but if you want to keep up with the times, you have to end in a Pyrrhic victory at best. It's like all the hip youth of today say, "life is nothing but a tedious gauntlet of pain and suffering with no consolation save the sweet oblivion of death" Embrace that message, and you'll go far.
