How do I change the font size?

Post » Wed Jun 29, 2011 4:56 pm

I've recently switched to using my 40in 1080p TV as my monitor and I've pretty much figured out how to change the font size to a larger one on most of my programs and applications. However in Morrowind the font is still hard to read and I was wondering if there was a way to change the size of the font? I assume that I just have to change a value in the ini file however I don't want to go messing with those things and screw something up by accident.

I'd take a backup of the .ini, and look for a place that says something like "aFontSizeValue" (I know it doesn't say like this, but it is just an idea of where to look).

I looked through it a minute ago and couldn't find anything regarding the font size. Just the type of font used.

You could try this:

- original line:
Font 1= century_gothic_font_regular
- change to:
Font 1=century_gothic_big

But i don't know, the guy who said this, said that it was mostly meant for high res, on small screens. But you could try.
