I usually play pure mages but I'm not so sure about the magic system. Just wait and see, I guess. If the magic doesn't offer me as many options as the previous games, I'll probably just play pure fighter. Big Nord with a bigger axe.

I usually play as a pure warrior at first and then get my magic skills up much later due to the need to have them for some reason. But i think i may play a heavy armoured mage this time (unless robes are super cool ) but im a bit worried because magic in RPG's is usually just too iffy and underpowered and annoying to use at first (recalling multiple instances of casting flurries of weak fireballs at enemies) but Skyrim seems to have fixed these issues. Though I will miss waiting for the next armour/ weapon upgrade if i use robes.
