Cuirasses and greaves are now merged for sure

Level scaling gave his comment all the weight it needed.

Agree 100% Bethesda has made fantastic games but they sure as hell have a made some BIG mistakes as well. Separate armor slots is one of most basic ways of character customization and if it is indeed removed thats big loss for me.

I'm mostly concerned about losing enchantment slots. Also...

Ladies and Gentlemen, a textbook case of "they're removing stuff and it's horrible".

They're not removed, they're changed.
World size is smaller, but more compressed, no two cities look exactly the same anymore.
Pauldrons are removed, instead we have full armor that look better than just a vest.
Spell creation was changed to more dynamic spellcasting.
Number of skills don't matter, you can still do the same things.
...

Or if you want to be complete, start with arena.
After all, they're dumbing down TES since 1996

I'd rather have spellmaking than "more dynamic spellcasting."

I'd rather have more choices in armor customization.

I'd rather not lose enchatment slots.

And there's been less content in every progressive game in the series since Daggerfall. It isn't really speculation. It's fact. For instance, just look at the factions and how many quests there are to do:

Daggerfall- 10 Knightly Orders, Fighters' Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, 8 Templar Orders. Those are all the major factions. There are also minor ones, like Witch Covens.

Morrowind- 3 Great Houses, Fighters' Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves' Guild, Imperial Cult, Imperial Legion, Morag Tong, Tribunal Temple. And then minor ones, like Twin Lamps and Vampire Clans. Then with Solstheim, there's the East Empire Trading Company.

Oblivion- Fighters' Guild, Mages' Guild, Thieves' Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Arena. The Rest are minor ones with a quest or two. With Knights of the Nine, you get a Knighthood.

Skyrim- Fighters' Guild, Mages' Guild, Thieves Guild. Apparently, the rest are minor ones.

There are no GREAVES! Theres the Armour and when its attached to the player it looks like a dress and covers the legs, all the armour does this, you can't even see the greaves.

Bit like this you mean?

For those that say Todd Howard is changing the game to appeal to casual players PLEASE note that no, he is not. Throughout interviews with him, I seem to recall him making multiple mentions of his appreciation of the TES fan ncommunity and their support. And for those who think that the removal of classes is dumbing down the game, take into consideration that a whole new perk system was designed to keep the aspect of specializing your chosen "class". And though I still don't agree with alot of their decisions, (please for the love of Akatosh dont simplify armour) take a look at the Fable series and be thankful...

Xarnac just needs a good Argonian maid is all.

Some might even call her 'lusty'. :P

When I read that book in Oblivion, it made my day. Actually, it made my week. :D

Bethesda has made a number of mistakes, but then again, Thomas Edison found 2000 ways not to make a light bulb...
