Project X Rp Idea

Hey guys had this idea kicking around in my head so here's a rough copy, a basic description of the Rp so if ya like make sure to comment to assure I make it.

Only several people heard of the secret vault, project name Vault X by its creator Jacob Hinston. At first the
project had promise, designed to make the humans a more superior race then they have ever been. Small amounts of
radiation were to be slowly pumped through small vents located across the vault.Hinston believed this would cause
minor mutation in the test subjects making them faster, stronger, smarter a perfect generation that Hinston liked
to call Human X.
The bombs dropped and the men and women took shelter in there bunker un-aware of the danger they posed on themselves
with this dangerous test. A few days passed with life in the shelter been simple enough but in many ways stressful,
emotions ran, and tempers flared. On day three however those subjects life's changed forever. The radiation began to
leak in slowly as planned, just enough to make several people get minor radiation mutation, and although it did make
the vault dwellers ill they did seem to gain powers that never seemed possible. One man was strong enough to lift the
bolted down couches with his one left hand. Another became faster then most cars any of them had seen, he whipped
down hallways laughing and dodging anything in his way.Life in the vault seemed great, and the experiment was a
complete success in the eyes of the dwellers.
However all good things come to an end and the wrath of the world gained its revenge on these humans who tried
to be something more then they are. Years had passed by and the dwellers had become fond of there environment and
there new found powers. Many had children and as Hinston predicted a new race had been created a new way of life.
One day, a day just like any other the ventilation system went haywire and began to pump deadly amounts of radiation
into the vault. The Project X subjects panicked and planned for an emergency evacuation of the Vault for anyone who had
the physical and mental strength to make it into the wastelands. The evacuation was swift, with the help of there
powers the dwellers were able to gather up equipment and supply's for there departure. Many had falling from the radiation
poisoning but for the others what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The large door spun open and reviled the harsh
world known as the wasteland. It was a young wasteland, grey clouds lingered in the sky, the ground was windy and cold,
and light was now rare to see.
They were the enhanced race, they would be the ones to tame the wasteland, they are Project X.

Basically this was the first vault to ever open not on purpose but by complete mistake. Each character will be gifted with a unique power like super strength, speed, telekinetic basically anything you can think of. This is also the raw untouched by human hands wasteland so that means no settlements, no factions, and a much more savage type of Rp. Tell we what ya think below.

I've seen a couple of these types of RPs before, I don't think any of them ever got off the ground. Doesn't mean yours doesn't have a chance but let's just go two things here that could stand in the way.

1.) übermensch. People in this site are generally good at not making their character too powerful or "uber". However with the superhuman like abilities, being uber is excatly want you want in this RP making it difficult to make a character that is powerful but not too powerful and it would be hard for a lot of players to over exceed or under exceed what is required. It would just take an watchful eye from you, the GM, to make sure that people don't go too crazy.

2.) Wasteland. In this case it truly fits the word, but with no factions or settlements thing can quickly go stale especially if you don't have a plot line to keep people interested. If you just people go wild on ruins things will stale quickly and it probably won't get very far, your need some kind of plan, some kind of plot to keep people engaged and interested. So basically you'll need a plot and there would still be factions I would think, not as many as New Vegas might have, maybe just the BOS and Enclave but they would be there.

If you can address this two issues I'm sure it's worth a shot.

Well more power, more and bigger enemies. Its a simple way to fix things like that.

They tried using that same method in inFAMOUS 2. Didn't work out so well.

Not from my experience. It actually felt like I was less powerful than in the last game.

The reason I want the wasteland to be a pure none human none faction place is for the very reasons your all talking about. With it I'll find making super powers seem minor compared to some of the other things the radiation affected. I was however thinking of adding very sort of pre-historic kind of versions of the Enclave and BoS, wearing raider types of armor using melee weapons to the best of there ability. And one other idea rolling around in my head was to add obstacles left by the old world for the vault dwellers (think President Eden).
There are many possibilities to work with and I trust the writer on this forum to take my twists and turn it into a detailed part of there Rp story.
