after updating to patch 1.9 i click to load the game and all i see is the mouse cursor but everything else is black i can also hear the game running in the background for example i hear the crytech logo and nvidia logo

my specs should be able to handle it my specs are amd phenom II x6 3.2 8 gigs of ram and windows 64 bit ultimate with hd 6870

the game runs fine if i dont update this patch wtf?

original game.cfg and no autoexec? I had a similar issue with altered motion blur cvars.

i didn't install the texture and dx 11 stuff yet i just updated to the new patch thats it! i get a black screen with a mouse cursor showing
