Probably PC gamers don't like the idea of their beloved PC title scaled down to fit the consoles. Personally, I don't see much point.

It won't look half as good and have half the features, even more scaled down than Crysis 2. I think console owners might find it boring. I'm not sure why they're spending so much time to port it to consoles other than being desperate.

Yes, I ca't imagine playing Crysis 1 on a console LOL I find it hard to imagine playing Crysis 2 on a console, but Crysis 1= No way!

Maybe the beauty of Cryengine 3 is that a remake would be relatively cheap to pop out. No new technology, no new design except how to slice and dice and cram it in there. Maybe.

Well i dont like the idea of the game being ported to pc because of the exclusivity,i felt proud that Crysis 1 was a PC exclusive but just that,i dont have any hard feelings for the consoles,besides the game its not going to look the same obviously the console cant handle the game,it will be more linear.

It wont use Cry-engine 2. As it was never intended to be used on consoles. What you will get is what battlefield 3 is giving consoles. what you get then is Maximum Watered down

Why do you care even if it were to be actually coming to consoles?

First off, there's no confirmation that Crysis 1 is actually coming to consoles by Crytek. It's just rumors.

Second off, WHO CARES!! If it goes on consoles then you can bet that the graphics will be way toned down, the game would be much more linear, and a bunch of things that made Crysis 1 fun like the advanced physics and such due to the advanced graphics won't be possible. It'll simply be console gamers experiencing the first game's story and enjoying that. THAT'S IT.

Take Crysis 2 on PC with DX11 as it is RIGHT NOW. Now take a console version of Crysis 2 and compare it to the PC version of Crysis 2. Crysis 2 on PC is obviously VASTLY better.

Thats true, i hadnt thought about it like that, thanks for clearing my mind, and reminding me why we are pc gamers
