None of the above, except maybe a small Caesar's Legion Presence in the MW.

This belongs in F4 Speculations, Suggestions, and Ideas Thread.

I had a thread similar to this but we invented new ons in it.

Talon Company. It really does belong in the suggestion thread.

Oh, did you see my mega Gabriel-like post?

It had Talon Company playing a decent role in a MWern game.

I had this idea for a faction if the game were to take place in Philidelphia. There would be the red coats who controlled Philly, and you guessed it wore red coats. Then another faction called the revolutionaries, which sat on the other side of the Delaware River. And in one quest the Revolutionaries, lead by Washington would float across the Delaware River and attacked the red coats. For even more accuracy you could do it on December 25th  The chances of this happening 1/100000000000

I like the idea of two competing mercenary groups, but I'd like more emphasis of them not being "evil" like in New Vegas.

I mentioned this in a different thread, but I'd like to see a game in Canada shortly after the Great War with Candian resistance and American remnants as factions.

Other.

Something new, yet still plausible.

(Though I wouldn't mind if all the other poll choices had a small part in it.)

Yeah, it was just a job Talon Company was offered with enough caps to make every member rich, they took it and got a horrible reputation along the East Coast so they went west.

They're not evil, just hated by the CW and it's neighbors.

Wasn't it becasue they took any kind of job, that the CW believed they were dirty criminals?

No, it's primarily because Bethesda wanted an excuse to make them auto-hostile, and crudely wrote up an excuse, hired by some "unknown third party" to "cause chaos", nothing else, and viola, generic "evil" cannon fodder for mid-tier loot, thanks Bethesda, ruined a faction with a lot of potential.

it's not ruined, there's still hope if they appear in another game in all of their glory and try and make themselves known for other things besides the "Capital Incident" as it should be called by them.

So, that is a yes then. If I remember correctly the most important thing they were doing was attacking the Capitol building against the super mutants and the basically lost. And three-dog said that they were (insult here) because they took on any job that was open.

They were just ruining around shooting everybody, Reilly had said they wiped out an entire settlement. (Not saying it's true but it really doesn't improve their reputation)

I'm expecting to see the game take place around the Commonwealth so none of them actually.
(I don't consider Lyons Brotherhood to be part of the actual Brotherhood Of Steel)
((I don't consider Outcasts to be part of it either, they're a disgrace to the real Brotherhood to have abandoned their name simply cause they thought 'Outcasts' sounded "catchy".))
