(REQ) Wantings some mod ideas for quests ;D

Post » Mon Jul 04, 2011 2:24 pm

So, first off, this will incorporate Forgotten Realms. I do not want ideas that do not pertain to that. Specifically, it will be in bloodmoon. More specifically, will revolve around the character Wulfgar from the Legend Of Drizzt Series. I figured there are plenty of mods for drow, but none for the barbarians. I am wanting some ideas. Rest assured, if I like it and I can make it, I will make it, if I like it and i can't make it, i will try regardless.
So here are some boundaries..
Can not be "Hey, make a new aegis fang! W00t W00t!"..
I cannot model. don't ask me to. If you find a model that is a resource, or useable, I might use it.
I can make dialogue and scripts, so try to incorpate that into your idea.
Do not tell me to make the underdark and the whole of icewind dale; it won't happen.

I'm looking forward to people's ideas and thoughts. If you think it would be cool, post it!

Thanks for your thoughts and time :celebration: :celebration:

Also, I've made a poll for some of my own ideas. Please vote if you want!

I'd like to defend Ten-Towns from a horde of Frost Giants. Shouldn't be too hard, just set some Nordic buildings in a nice, fairly uncluttered area (plenty of that on Solstheim), make a hole in the ground for the lake (lots of tutorials on landscaping), and retexture a copy of Karstaag (or perhaps find someone to make a new model for you).

On second thought, maybe that is a bit much. I don't know, just an idea. :P

Foolish Me: Heh, now I feel like doing that myself.

Sensible Me: *slaps Foolish* You've got enough to do!

Evil Me: Hehehehe... Hit him again...

Good Me: *bonks Evil*

Evil Me: You son of a...

That would be fun, the only problem with it is that That would require a tremendouse amount of landscape, and I don't want to use to much. I'm shying away from anything more than a few houses... :cryvaultboy:

The chieftain idea sounded nice to me, but I'd rather have some quests where I don't become the top dog. Like: you accidentally break some religious item from the tribe and become indebted to them and have to do minor jobs like guarding the tribe at night (with scripted enemy/animal attacks). After a specified time, they'd release you from your debt. If the job was to guard at night, during the day you are free to do whatever you please, but if you don't return at a certain time in the evening (to start the guard duty), they'd put a bounty on your head and send some strong men to beat you to a pulp and drag you back to the tribe :P (up to you on how they'd punish you. I haven't thought it through that far). This way, you'd still feel like you're punished, but won't interfere with your game (aside from having to return at night).

I've decided to make a barbarian tribe, but I'm stille deciding on how i'm gunna do it. I might use some of your idea's but I have a few of me own to ;)

You could always scale it back to defending a single hot Nord chick from a bunch of Frost Giants. :)
