I live in Deepscorn Hollow but im tired of living in the darkness and having to travel so far south to put a few toys away everyday. i cant make up my mind between Battlehorn Castle or Rosethorn hall. I was also considering to murder someone in the Imperial city and taking over their home if its nice and spacious. Does anyone know any nices homes in the Imperial city? what do u think?

Some guy named Agarmir has a pretty nice place. For a simple trapper anyway.

Dorian's house is nice, in the talos plaza. He won't be missed by anyone if you do a little killy-stabby :ninja:

There's a free house in the Imperial City. The owner is dead in the basemant. :ooo: My slave-theif character discovered it while randomly breaking & entering every house in the IC.

Spoiler
Lorkmir's house in the Elven Gardens District.

May I suggest finishing the Thieves Guild quest line?
Spoiler
You get access to their hideout, Dareloth's House, near Dareloth's Garden in the IC Waterfront. Since you become the TG guildmaster, the top room is yours with a decent amount of safe storage.
Comes fully furnished, even with a bed you can sleep in and it won't be trespassing. Did I mention safe storage too?
Be warned though, the TG quest line can be buggy. Don't fence more than you need to get the next TG quest started.

Rosethorn is Skingrad right?
I can attest that that's a REALLY nice house. Plenty of safe containers, and surfaces to peddle anything you like to collect.

Now, I don't really stop by Skingrad in normal adventuring so you still might consider it "annoying" to keep having to go there to unload things. You're going to have to do that no matter where you choose to live.

Its not that unloading my loot is annoying , just having to travel so far. Im looking for a more centralized home to sleep and store all my extra gear. Whats annoying is having to travel back and forth to deepscorn hollow every time i picked up new armor or a weapon i wanted.
