So the ''Q and A''....

Post » Wed Jul 06, 2011 9:15 am

I liked the information I saw! Some cool stuff there.

I am very disappointed that the topic of guard behavior was not addressed. A lot of people asked about it in that thread, and no answer just makes me think that guards will be just as badly designed as in past games. I don't care about the nine different guard factions; I want to be able to get away with a crime if there are no witnesses.

There is no real justification for it taking four weeks to be posted, and I'm not over the moon about everything that was confirmed, but all in all it was pretty good with a few interesting nuggets of info.

That mentality is why 90% of the world is messed up right now.

Be grateful it's only 90%. :P

I'm satisfied. Enchanting and smithing sound good, and friendships and romance may be interesting. The most important questions for me weren't asked, and are ones that can be answered only by playing the game.

I mostly agree with this, except for one or two questions.

I dunno, just seemed like they picked a lot of stuff that has been answered already and expanded on them a tad. I was hoping for more TBH after all the hype

I did like the bit about the Bar brawls though.

Soo glad they finally cleared up the armour issue as well.. Maybe everyone can get some sleep now? My personal opinion on the issue is am a tad worried but I have faith the extra sets and overall look will make up for it.

6/10 bonus point because :tes: .

Asking about medium armor was dumb, I knew they wouldn't go back to that. However asking about some sort of nonmagical unarmored mitigation would've been nice.

Also I would've liked to have know how guards and bounties are being handled.

I was sold on the combined cuirass and greaves, however they completely ignored the clothing part of the question.

I just dont understand the we got most the questions answered stuff,..... how is it you think that do you even remember the questions postings ??? or ever even see one ??? does any1 have a number on the amount of postings we went thru b4 they said enough ? It had to be 7-8 at least, with each one maxed out,... so no it did not even scratch the list lol, and after the push back and the wait we get 25 answers to (at least some) questions we pretty much knew to some degree all ready,... and many games would have a ton of screenies and such out by now,.... I love TES but they killing me with this secrecy stuff,.... not even the whole 30 min video yet from E3 (what kills me about that is half the people let in to see it dont even play the games just market it) yes I am whining and crying, I want, I want, feed me Leroy ! Feed me !

I'd say it was good, but not as good as I was expecting, pardon my optimism. I'd give it probably a 7/10. I was truly hoping they'd give some more information about werewolves or the volkihar, though. I have to say though, it does sound to me like they're certainly striving to at least attempt to put werewolves and/or vampires in.

i believe that Todd said that guards would definately not have a "Walky Talky" feature in one of the videos.

Well, blah. I was hoping for more varied stuff to get answered but nope.

Brawls sound cool, the companion stuff might be interesting to those who like getting that involved with it, and the enchanting info was nice. The rest was rather mundane stuff most of us already saw coming. Although I'm happy the back and forth over greaves is finally settled.

The one big one *I* wanted answered though wasn't touched. Shame on you Todd :P

Nope. Have you heard of mainstream?
