Persistant Graphical Issue. Please Please Help.

Post » Wed Jul 06, 2011 7:45 pm

So I get these weird white flickering chunks on plants and character models.

This has happened since I originally installed it. I was really hoping that 1.9/dx11 would fix it but it didn't. :(

Here's my rig:
CPU: AMD hexacore at 4.0Ghz
GPU: 2 x ATI HD 5770s
RAM: 4GB 1600mhz

I know it's not because of my crossfire because the problem persists in windowed mode. Also, I have the latest drivers, 11.6 along with the latest CAP.

Any one else have this same issue and/or know how to fix it? I am desperate!

Here's a video of it going on:

Notice on his wrist and in the trees.

What settings are you running at? Are you running full ultra? What resolution?

I've had this problem, I noticed one other user who has had this problem as well. It doesn't seem to be too common, but it is extremely persistent and annoying. I feel your pain man, sometimes it gets really bad for me and almost covers my whole screen. It's a shame because I can't find a single fix and it keeps me from really enjoying the beautiful DX11 visuals. Hopefully the upcoming driver from nvidia can help fix this.

It could still be the Crossfire setup, I'd try troubleshooting that by running the game with only *1* graphics card, if it still happens, remove any overclocks on your system and try again.

@M4dn3ss: No, I have even tried underclocking everything to make sure.

@teh_n00binator: Ultra. Highest possible. 1680x1050. I have tried different resolutions and graphical settings, though, with no luck.

@Chr0n1c15: I pulled out my secondary card and still no luck. :(

Thanks so much everyone for the help so far. I really really appreciate it. And sorry for the delayed response. I was out of town for the 4th of July. Yay America!
