Having played Fallout 3 and New vegas for hundreds and hundreds of hours on my, fairly deficient, pc system, i recently felt a melancholic urge to play it again, but in the best possible graphics and on my much larger tv screen this time. Now my question is, is there any concensus whatsoever about on which console Fallout 3 GOTY Edition performs best? I haven't quite followed the reception of the game on other platforms, or pc anyway, as i had little trouble myself (apart from frequent random crashing and the lack of graphical performance due to my weak system), so i would be very glad to know if there's any general conception of the game's quality on the consoles, and if there's any substantial difference between the two. (As for the location of this topic, i considered to place it under Hardware & Software Issues, but then all subforums were specific to one platform, if this topic needs to be moved there, or somewhere else, regardless, a mod may do so.)

What specs are your PC?

The reason I ask is that even though you may think your system is weak, it may still perform better than consoles.

Well, processor is fine (2,4 Ghz Quad), but RAM and Graphics are rubbish, 2 GB RAM and 512 MB Nvidia 8000-series, it has never been upgraded since i bought it several years ago. So i'm decided to buy it on console, just not sure which one yet for said reasons.

Reading through the IGN Review once more i noticed a closing comment in the final verdict i had overlooked earlier on:

" Presentation
The atmosphere and style are everything you could ask for and more. The PS3 version has shown us substantially more bugs than what you get on PC and 360. "

It seems PS3 version is more buggier, Wikipedia supports this as well. I guess i'll have to take the Xbox360 version, if anyone has any additional remarks nevertheless, i would gladly be informed.
