Is this a bug? (Fallout 1) : Fallout Series Discussion

Alright I was in the Hub and decided to go to Necropolis. When I was there Ian got killed by ghouls so I decided to go to Junktown, but whenever I first show up there's a man described to be muscular with a scar and a moustache who for no reason at all tries to kill me when I first show up, after I kill him the guard tries to kill me.

Is this a bug or did I just piss this guy off?

If you had your weapon drawn and you went into Junktown you would be shot.

I didn't have my weapon out, until that psycho tried to kill me. After he was killed I put my weapon away and the guard still shot me.

I found out it was a bug, got trapped in Adytrum by the Regulators and had to start a new game

Do you have the unofficial patch? It always helps.
